2020 Holiday Gift Guide

Dec 01, 2020

I love taking care of my eyes.  it makes them feel great when I do my daily treatment to them.  Then, I feel great knowing I've done something to help myself look and see my best.  I bet someone in your life loves to do that too.

My holiday gift guide contains all of my favorite products that I use to take care of my eyes on a daily basis. So, you can think about giving them as a gift to a loved one. The first two are brand new products that were just launched this year in 2020.  You can no longer say nothing good came out of this year.

#1) Optase Dry Eye Intense Drops

I love this artificial tear. It's not like any other artificial tears on the market.  With most artificial tears it feels great at first, but then you feel just as dry as you did before you put it in.  Optase is different.  It has hyaluronic acid in the formulation, in the form of sodium hyaluronate, which keeps moisture on the eyes.

This advanced product works with your natural tears and binds them to the surface of the eye.   This creates a water-rich shield that protects the eye, reduces the evaporation of the tears, and increases comfort.

The product is in a preservative-free bottle.  No more little vials to carry around.  There are 300 doses in one bottle, and it will last for 3 months after opening.  This is not a prescription medication, it's available over the counter.

These drops draw moisture to the eye and hold it there.  Your eyes will actually feel more moisturized after using this drop which is why it's a new favorite for many eye doctors to recommend. I think you'll love them too.

#2) Eyes Are The Story Mascara

This company, Eyes Are The Story, just launched their products in 2020.  I am obsessed with this mascara. It is so comfortable to wear it looks great. It doesn't flake off throughout the day.  It's long lasting, non-toxic, and makes you look and feel great.

This mascara is formulated to protect, strengthen, and extend lashes.  The color is a deep black, the texture is creamy and the applicator brush creates voluminous lashes, which keeps them healthy and lifted.

The product comes in a set with three mini mascaras.  This is intentionally designed to help minimize contamination and bacteria build-up, which is traditionally caused by overuse of the same mascara wand over long periods of time.

#3) Lid Cleansing Gel by Zocular

Zocular products contain unique okra-infused Zocusome micelles that gently lift and clear the oil, debris, and residue on your eyelid margins to make your eyes and skin appear more natural and healthy.  The micelles surround the dirt and debris and remove it from the lid margin.  You will feel clean and refreshed with this product.

To use the Zocular gel, you'll want to have already removed your makeup.  Then, put a little strip of this cleanser onto your fingertips and rub that right into your eyelashes.  Use the gel in the evenings to cleanse your lids and lashes. You don't even have to rinse it away.

#4) Eyes Are The Story Facial Cleanser

I love this facial cleanser because I know it is also good for my eyes. It is free of toxins and irritants, so it's safe to use around your eyes. Even if you happen to get this cleanser on your lids or lashes, it's not going to hurt them.

This cleansing gel cleanses the skin with antioxidants and phytonutrients.  Olive Leaf Extract synergizes and melts away dirt, impurities and makeup.  Resveratrol is used to repair and plump your skin, leaving it radiant and nourished while protecting your precious skin barrier and sensitive eyes.

This cleanser is gentle enough to use every morning and night.  The best part is that you know it is as good for your skin as it is your eyes.

#5) Eye Makeup Removal Cloth by Norwex

These makeup removal cloths are made of super-soft, self-purifying Norwex antibacterial Microfiber.  The microfiber cloth is sturdy and has a soft suede feel to it.  Using just water, the cloth removes all traces of daily makeup and buildup.  It leaves the skin clean and better able to absorb moisturizer.

To use, just moisten the cloth and gently rub in circular motions over your face and eyes to gently remove your makeup.  There are absolutely no chemicals in the cloth, and it removes your eye makeup beautifully.  Even better, it's reusable!  You can wash these in the washing machine just like other towels.

#6) Alleviate Dry Eye Book

Alleviate Dry Eye is an eight week guide to getting healthy eyes and comfortable vision.   As you read the book, you can follow along with the free workbook that comes with it.  You can download that workbook and follow along in all eight weeks. There are guides, resources, and checklists to keep you accountable to your treatment plan.

I wrote this book with you in mind.  So, if you already have a copy, great!  Pick up another copy for your best friend, your sister, your mom, or someone else in your life that probably has dry eyes too.

I hope you find the best gift for all the loved ones on your list this holiday!
