#103 Can I Wear Eye Makeup when My Eyes Are Dry?

You can wear makeup when you have dry eyes.  You may need to make some changes to how you wear your makeup and how you care for your eyes though.  Making a switch to Clean Makeup is the key to having your sensitive eyes tolerate makeup again.

Follow these tips to feel comfortable with your eye makeup:

  1. Avoid toxins around your eyes by making a switch to clean makeup.
  2. Remove your eye makeup every night.
  3. Proper placement of your makeup is key: no tight lining or water lining.

If you'd like to learn the other 10 rules about makeup wear and care, check out the Clean Makeup Manual Course.  The course covers everything you need to know about wearing clean makeup.  And, it provides step-by-step instructions on how to get relief from your red, irritated eyes.  It is a must know if you have dry eyes and want to wear makeup.

Blog #133: 8 Weeks to Alleviate Dry Eyes

Thinking about managing your dry eyes can be truly overwhelming.  That is why I wrote the book, Alleviate Dry Eye, to cut through the overwhelm.  The book provides an easy to follow plan.  In honor of my 3 year publishing anniversary, I’d love to give you a free PDF copy of the book.  Click here to get your copy.

The book walks you through the 3 pillars of a complete dry eye treatment plan to get the relief you deserve.  Start with the eyes and set up a daily care routine to keep your peepers soothed.  Next, look at your physical health and make some adjustments to your diet and sleep routines.  Finally, look at the effects your environment.  Changes here can give big results, especially if it is something you do for several hours a day, like sit in front of a computer.

Dry eye disease is chronic and progressive.  It’s a disease just like high blood pressure, diabetes, or glaucoma.  It doesn’t just get better on its own.  Ignoring it won’t make it go away.   With writing this book my goal was to simplify a process to eliminate the dry eye drama from your daily life. I’d love to give you a free PDF copy of the book.  Click here to get your copy.

CONCLUSION

It's been a great year for those of us with dry eyes.  We have more products and resources to use to get the relief we deserve.  Your eyes can feel more comfortable, see more clearly, and look great all day.
